WWE reportedly "still high" on 23-year-old star who returned from injury (Exclusive)

WWE and especially Shawn Michaels seem to have big plans for a returning superstar who was away due to an injury for 263 days. A new report has revealed that WWE is still high on the 23-year-old star.

On WrestleVotes Radio on Backstage Pass, JoeyVotes and TC spoke briefly about Cora Jade being highlighted on NXT's debut on CW. The report stated that WWE was very high on Cora Jade before her injury and they seemingly have big plans for the star following her return to NXT.

It's all a matter of momentum and staying healthy. Many questions were raised about the fact that she helped Roxanne Perez - her friend turned rival, to retain the NXT Women's Championship. It's going to be interesting to see where things are picked up storyline-wise going forward.

Shawn Michaels and Triple H also appeared to kickstart the platinum/silver era of the company's developmental brand. It is an exciting time to be a NXT fan.

Is WWE planning a huge alliance between Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade?

Cora Jade broke her silence backstage after her return following a 263-day hiatus. She told Roxanne Perez that she likes the woman that the latter has become - referring to the star's mean streak and run as the NXT Women's Champion.

Perez, for her part, simply said that maybe a common enemy would bring them back together. Many have interpreted this as the creative teasing a feud between Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez against Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer.

In case you didn't know, Stephanie Vaquer made her presence known to both Perez and Giulia before their Women's Title match on NXT this week. Perhaps her stepping up will involve siding with the Japanese star against Jade and Perez. Things look like they're heating up in NXT's new era.
