WWE reportedly "very happy" with special SummerSlam appearance

Triple H went all out at this year's WWE SummerSlam to ensure that fans got the best entertainment possible. A special appearance at the show got social media talking, and the company seems to be "very happy" about it.

There were no shortages of surprises at SummerSlam this year. The show was a big one, with many fans comparing it to WrestleMania.

Fans saw rapper Machine Gun Kelly show up to accompany Logan Paul down the entranceway for his United States Championship match against LA Knight. Meanwhile, Grammy-nominated singer Jelly Roll also got into the action at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Unlike Machine Gun Kelly, Jelly Roll was already heavily advertised for the show. What many WWE fans didn’t know was that the singer would show off his moves at the show.

He entered the ring and delivered chair-shots to the former WWE Tag Team Champions, A-Town Down Under. He then took down Austin Theory with a big one-handed chokeslam before joining The Miz and R-Truth for a five-knuckle shuffle on the former United States Champion. The segment was a huge hit among fans, and Fightful Select reported that WWE was also "very happy" with Jelly Roll’s performance and appearance at SummerSlam.

The Nashville native performed his hit song Liar before getting into the action. Overall, Jelly Roll’s appearance seems to have been a hit among fans and higher-ups.

John Cena could team up with Jelly Roll on his WWE retirement tour

Many fans were left heartbroken after John Cena announced his retirement tour next year at Money in the Bank. However, the fun is about to start as Cena will be heavily featured in WWE this coming year.

Jelly Roll hit John Cena’s signature move on Austin Theory and later took to X to confirm that it was a childhood dream for him to take to the ring. This brought out a response from the 16-time world champion, who teased a potential partnership with the Grammy-nominated singer.

"Have listened to his music, had the privilege of spending some time with him, and now know I have a GREAT option for a tag team partner anytime @WWE comes to Nashville! @JellyRoll615’s Time is Now!!!! #SummerSlam," John Cena wrote.

The creative team could dig deep to book a tag team match involving Austin Theory and Grayson Waller, and the team of Jelly Roll and John Cena to entertain fans. It would be the perfect way to advertise some big contests for Cena’s upcoming retirement tour.
