WWE's plan for popular duo after another loss on RAW; the stars are set to ally with Chad Gable - Reports
A new report has shed light on potential WWE plans for the talented duo who are set to turn heel and join forces with Chad Gable. The stars in question are Julius and Brutus Creed of The Creed Brothers.
On RAW after 'Mania, the Alpha Academy leader turned heel after losing to Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. Since then, Gable has expressed disappointment in Otis, Akira Tozawa, and Maxxine Dupri on TV for not getting the job done to help him win the IC title.
Given that the 38-year-old star is not happy with babyfaces members of Alpha Academy, reports suggest that he will form a new heel unit with Brutus and Julius Creed.
The Authors of Pain (Akam & Rezar) defeated The Creed Brothers on the May 27, 2024 edition of Monday Night RAW. The popular duo has not picked a win on TV since they defeated Judgment Day members Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh on the December 12, 2023 episode of the Red brand show.
Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio provided an update on The Creed Brothers' situation. The journalist noted that right now WWE might have a bigger transition in store for the former NXT Tag Team Champions when they ally with Chad Gable:
"I think that they may be putting the Creeds with Gable, so right now they're in that mode of 'we can beat them all the time and make them look like nothing because we're going to do a big transition for them.'" (H/T: WrestleTalk)
Akira Tozawa issues apology to Chad Gable after WWE RAW
This week on RAW, Master Gable was on a path to humiliate Otis for his actions at the King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia. The 38-year-old star almost whipped Otis with his belt but Dupri and later, Sami Zayn stopped it.
During a backstage segment, Chad Gable verbally berated the former WWE Cruiserweight Champion for failing to show up in Saudi Arabia. Following Monday Night RAW, Akira Tozawa took to social media and issued an apology to the former Tag Team Champion:
"I'm sorry coach," he wrote.

Only time will tell when Otis, Tozawa, and Dupri leave Gable's side so that he can take The Creed Brothers under his wings.
