WWE Superstar who allegedly 'quit' may not be done with the company after all; update on potential plans - Reports
A WWE Superstar who allegedly quit might not be done with the promotion, according to a recent report. The star in question is the former NXT North American Champion, Wes Lee.
Lee was last seen on WWE television in a number-one contender's match against Ilja Dragunov. The winner of that match was supposed to get a chance to face Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. The star earlier revealed that he told his family he would either qualify for the PLE or go home.
Unfortunately for his fans, the former North American Champion lost to Dragunov, following which we saw him clean out his locker and walk away with his wife.
There were a lot of rumors suggesting that WWE might be planning to shift him to the main roster, as he had already shown his worth by becoming the longest-reigning North American Champion in the history of NXT before losing the title to Dominik Mysterio.
However, according to a recent report by Steve Carrier of Ringside News, Wes Lee might not be in the company's current plans for a main roster call-up.

WWE Superstar Wes Lee and Carmelo Hayes made history together during NXT Heatwave
Wes Lee and Carmelo Hayes had faced each other back in August for the NXT Championship at NXT Heatwave. Hayes came out victorious in that bout.
However, the duo made history together as they became the first two African-American male superstars to main event for the NXT Championship.
During their introduction, NXT announcer Vic Joseph noted this and talked about the moment with Booker T.
"Booker, we talked about before this match started earlier, history being made. This is the first time ever that two African-American male superstars will compete in the main event for the NXT Championship. How significant is this moment? This is history!"
Fans are hoping to see the longest-reigning North American Championship show up on television soon. Let's see what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for him.
