WWE Rumours: Original stunt plans for Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker revealed

Shane McMahon eyeing the distance before making the leap of faith at WrestleMania 32

At WrestleMania 32, Shane McMahon and The Undertaker put on a show that would put much of the younger competitors to shame. Shane O’ Mac went a step further and brought out his inner daredevil to perform a mind-numbing stunt that was just jaw dropping.

But recently, rumours have surfaced claiming that there was something even more dramatic planned for the bout, but scrapped at the last moment. Something even dramatic than a 46 year old guy jumping from top of a cage that is 20 ft high!? Now, what could that be?

Remember Shane’s insane drop back when he was feuding with Steve Blackman? Or even better, do you remember his insane elbow drop on The Big Show from the top of the titantron. Well, that was the big stunt that was being planned.

WWE was planning to let Shane elbow drop Taker from the top of titantron. It was even rehearsed, but ultimately WWE decided to not to do it and instead go with dropping an elbow from top of the cell. Still, the big jump alone stole the show.

Imagine the impact it would have created among the fans to see Shane leaping off from the top of the titantron. All speculations aside, it was good that WWE scrapped that stunt. I can’t eiether imagine Shane jumping from the top of titantron at this age or Taker taking the elbow at his age.
