Ryback to visit India as part of WWE promotion programme

Ryback will be visiting India this week

As noted earlier, Ryback will be missing this weekend’s WWE live events because he will be in Mumbai, India. He will be appearing at the Oberoi Mall in Goregaon this Saturday at 3 pm.

WWE has been trying to increase its global presence ever since Triple H took charge of its day-to-day running and sending Ryback to promote WWE in a country with more than a billion people seems like a step in the right direction.

Game developers ’2K Games’  have tied up with Indian game distributors ‘e-xpress Interactive’ in an attempt to market their game ‘WWE 2K14′  and are flying Superstar Ryback to India to jointly promote both WWE and the game.

The first pre-order Downloadable Content(DLC) is a downloadable character—the Ultimate Warrior from old-school WWE. The second pre-order bonus will be specifically made for India which is what the beast is here to unveil.

The game will consist of 48 current wrestlers, Ryback included, and 36 legendary characters such as Triple H, The Undertaker, The Rock and Randy Orton along with André the Giant, Batista, Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart and Hulk Hogan among others.

The game also has a new mode named ’30 years of Wrestlemania’  with an option where the player can go through the whole history of the event. It will shows how the wrestlers evolved through the length of their career.

It has been divided into five parts with the ultimate one being called the ‘Universe Era’, which will leads to the present-day scenario of the game. Other eras in the game mode are Hulkamania Runs Wild, The New Generation, Attitude Era and Ruthless Aggression.

WWE 2K14  will hit the Xbox 360 and Playstation platforms on November 1 this year.
