Seth Rollins breaks major rule, Bloodline member missed cue - 5 botches you missed at WWE Crown Jewel
WWE made the trip to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel once again this weekend. As always there were several memorable moments throughout the show.
The Women's Tag Team Championships and United States Championship were successfully defended, but two new Crown Jewel Champions were crowned and there were some noticeable botches throughout the event.
The following list looks at just five of the biggest botches you missed at WWE Crown Jewel.
#5. LA Knight hung himself up on the top rope
LA Knight successfully defended his United States Championship at Crown Jewel but the win didn't come without incident. Knight was part of an altercation with Carmelo Hayes after he accidentally elbowed him in the face, before he hung himself up on the top rope.
Knight leaped from the floor but lost his footing. Despite the painful landing, he was still able to continue and pick up the win.
#4. Jimmy Uso missed the pin
The Bloodline war kicked off the show and saw Sami Zayn involve himself in the story, but this came after Roman Reigns was pinned in Saudi Arabia for the first time in five years. Solo Sikoa and his team picked up the win which came after Sikoa had the pin following the Samoan Spike, but Jimmy Uso missed his cue as he was set to break up the pin.
Reigns was able to kick out but it was clear that Jimmy was supposed to break up the pin before the kickout.
#3/2. The women's Tag Team Championship match saw several botches
Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair retained their WWE Women's Tag Team Championships at Crown Jewel but the match was riddled with botches. Cargill missed her kick against Lash Legend before Kairi Sane wasn't caught and risked injury when she was thrown in the air.
There were several moments that were questionable, but the women were able to hold it together to allow the titles to be retained.
#1. This match isn't no-dq Seth Rollins!
Seth Rollins battled Bronson Reed in one of the most brutal matches of the night and was able to pick up the win following several Stomps. Rollins used the steel steps to deliver a stomp which is technically against the rules unless it's a No-DQ match.
The WWE referee was aware of this but waved it through and let Rollins pick up the win after the attack.
