WWE Rumors: Huge backstage update on Seth Rollins's return
With injured superstars slowly making their way back into WWE’s fold, speculations on impending returns are doing the rounds on the internet. Cesaro returned this past week to a great reception to be a part of the Fatal four-way to determine the no.1 contender to the WWE Championship.
With John Cena and Randy Orton also set to return soon, the rumor mills churned out promising updates on Seth Rollin’s status. The latest bit points to the Architect being back sometime in mid-July.
He is expected to have his first match on his return at the biggest pay-per-view of the summer, SummerSlam. Who Seth would feud with and how WWE plans on reintroducing him (heel or face) are the questions that are still unanswered.
We had earlier reported that Rollins was back at the Performance Centre training hard for his impending return. A babyface Rollins is what the WWE universe expects to see and the same could happen on one of the RAW episodes in July.
Before being forced to vacate his title, Rollins was booked to face Roman Reigns and was set to drop the Championship to WWE's pushed face. With the roles being reversed now, WWE could revisit the feud on Rollin's return, with Reigns as a heel and Rollins as the over face looking to reclaim the title he never lost.
Note that this is just a proposed scenario and not something that's in the works as of now.
