Sheamus will defend his US title on Smackdown

WWE superstar Sheamus will defend his United States Championship for the first time on Friday night Smackdown.

WWE has confirmed that the Celtic Warrior will be involved in a title match at the First Niagara Center in Buffalo, NY. But the identity of his opponent hasn’t been disclosed yet.

The show will be taped before hand on Tuesday.

Sheamus won a 20-man battle royal on the May 5 episode of Raw, to become the US Champion for the second time in his career dethroning Dean Ambrose.
