SK's take on a possible John Cena vs Undertaker match at Wrestlemania

Will we
Will we finally see this match?

The WrestleMania season is about to begin with the Royal Rumble all set to take place on January 28, 2018.

WrestleMania Season always brings with it ample speculation and loads of rumours. One of the biggest talking points of this time of the year is always "Who is Undertaker facing at Wrestlemania?" and it seems his opponent this year is going to be none other than the Franchise Player himself, John Cena.

What is interesting is that a lot of people were speculating whether or not Undertaker will even be having a match this WrestleMania, given that after last year's defeat at the hands of Roman Reigns it looked like Undertaker had finally retired.

However, as reported by WON, it looks like an Undertaker vs Cena match is very much on the cards.

The Undertaker faced off against Roman Reigns at last year's WrestleMania which saw The Big Dog defeating The Phenom in a gruelling match. After the Match Undertaker left his Iconic Hat and Trenchcoat lying in the ring while he walked away.

Many believed this was the Undertaker's way of bidding adieu to the WWE Universe and that he would only return for a Hall of Fame induction.

It was also speculated that Cena would be starting a program with Samoa Joe after Royal Rumble; which does seem to be the case but it looks like it will be short feud and will not lead to a match between the two at Wrestlemania.

An Undertaker vs Cena match was something that all fans wanted to see, but that was before the streak was broken as "The Golden Boy" John Cena seemed like the only person capable of breaking it. But with the streak already broken, there is not much to look forward to the match.

At 52-Years of age, The Undertaker is way past his prime and does not need to put his body through another match especially after being out of action for a year.

It feels like WWE will back themselves in a corner by going ahead with this match. A win for John Cena would mean that Undertaker will suffer back to back losses at WM and go out with three defeats in his streak, greatly hampering the legend of the streak.

On the other hand, a win for Undertaker would also not achieve much as having "The Face That Runs The Place" loose to a 52-year old part-timer would certainly hamper the credibility of the company's top star.
