SK's Take on the Possible Winner of the Universal Title Match

Which of these behemoths will come out on top in this clash of epic proportions?
Which of these behemoths will come out on top in this titanic clash of epic proportions?

The match is set in stone. Brock Lesnar defends his title against not one, but two men at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Actually, let us rephrase that line. He will defend his title not merely against men, but against monsters.

Brock Lesnar takes on Braun Strowman and Kane in a triple threat match, in the first WWE pay-per-view event of the year. Kane has gone on record to say that this may perhaps be his last Royal Rumble appearance.

Braun Strowman, on the other hand, is the man that WWE has pinned many hopes on. Not only was he perhaps the most pushed superstar of the year that was, but he's also improved leaps and bounds since the time when he was a member of the Wyatt Family.

As for Brock Lesnar, while his appearances on RAW may be few and far between, he's the MVP of the company at present. Lesnar hails from an era where wrestling was far more popular, and his stints in the world of MMA have only done wonders for his myth, his legend!

In our estimation, it will be Brock Lesnar who retains his championship at the pay-per-view. This is because plans are still in progress for him to go into WrestleMania 34 as champion, and for Roman Reigns to take the title from him. As the Metallica song goes- 'It's sad but true'.

In the weeks that follow, it'll be interesting to see if Kane and Braun Strowman do form the makeshift alliance on RAW that they teased this week. The dynamics of this triple threat match, where the Universal Champion does not have to be pinned to lose his title should be mighty interesting to see.

Whether you love him, despise him or do not have an opinion of him (an unlikely scenario), expect Brock Lesnar to come out on top, at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
