SK WWE Power Rankings: 31 October, 2016
Hell in a Cell will be remembered for a lot of things; the memorable matches, the title change and more. As far as the Power Rankings are concerned, however, it was all about which superstar got the better momentum and which superstar struggled.
The names from SmackDown had the Sunday off due to Hell in a Cell being a Brand specific pay-per-view, while the superstars of Raw saw this as a chance to rise above. And due to this factor, this week’s Power Rankings saw a lot of ups and downs. Here is a look at how the rankings shaped up ahead of the upcoming week of WWE programming.
#10 Dean Ambrose (-1)
Dean Ambrose had the chance to become the new number one contender for the WWE Championship this week on SmackDown. Unfortunately, due to James Ellsworth, Dean lost his chance. It was an unexpected turn to the whole storyline and the fact that no one saw it coming, made it look good.
The loss against AJ Styles, even though it was via disqualification, costs Ambrose his footing in the Power Rankings. He drops one place down to tenth, and the Lunatic Fringe would be eager to bounce back and put his name back into the title scene, even if it is going to be a hard path for him.
