This is a major spoiler so if you like to catch your NXT action as it happens, we recommend you move to the next page right away. Else rejoice in the fact that the WarGames concept will be making a comeback to WWE after nearly two decades (if you don't count the WarGames 2000 match, that is).

NXT Takeover: Houston on Survivor Series weekend now has a new name. It will be known as NXT Takeover: WarGames instead. The main event of the NXT Takeover special will showcase SAnitY vs. The Undisputed Era vs. The Authors of Pain and Roderick Strong, in a very strange sort of alliance.

Son of the format founder Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes also sent his blessings for WarGames to be brought back into the public eye, with NXT after Triple H had a conversation with him. He believes that it will be handled with total care.

The reactions to WarGames alone warrant an article of their own, really. Let's move on and check out the other WWE news from this explosive week.
