"So proud of my man" - Former Women's Champion sends out message following WWE RAW

A former Women's Champion in WWE has revealed that she is proud of her man following his appearance on RAW.

This past Monday's episode of the red brand took place at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The build toward Crown Jewel on November 4 continued, as well as the rivalry between new SmackDown GM Nick Aldis and RAW GM Adam Pearce also resumed this week. Aldis apologized for kicking Pearce out of Friday Night Show last week, and the two authority figures appeared to bury the hatchet.

However, Pearce later stumbled upon Aldis seemingly trying to recruit RAW talent to SmackDown backstage. The new SmackDown GM decided to excuse himself from the building before Pearce had him removed.

Mickie James and Nick Aldis are married in real life, and she took to social media to react to her husband's appearance on RAW. James shared that she was so proud of her husband and reposted a clip of him opening up about his WWE debut.

"So proud of my man," she wrote.

Former WWE star Trinity (Naomi) on a dream match against Mickie James

IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity recently shared that she wanted to battle Mickie James in a dream match.

Last month, Trinity spoke with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Kevin Kellam in an exclusive interview ahead of Victory Road. The former SmackDown Women's Champion stated that she wanted to get in the ring with Mickie James and noted that the two never had a rivalry while in WWE.

"The one person I look forward to being in the ring with is Mickie [James]. We never really got to...we've touched and been in the ring in WWE but never an angle or a real feud or anything like that," said Trinity. [From 07:20 - 07:38]

Trinity got her wish and defeated James at Bound for Glory 2023 on October 21 to retain the Impact Knockouts World Championship. It will be interesting to see if Mickie James gets the chance to return to the company down the line.
