Some big news dropped during this NXT television taping

The Full Sail Arena was packed to witness a tremendous night of television tapings for the WWE Network. All of the Superstars of tomorrow were gearing up to put on a show nobody would soon forget.NXT TakeOver: Houston was about to get a new name in the form of an old match concept.

Everything is coming to a head and things seem to be getting even more exciting in WWE's developmental territory than on the main roster. It might just appear that way, but it is certainly a growing opinion within the confines of the Internet Wrestling Community.

Let's get right to the action and see what NXT has in store for fans in the coming weeks.

#1 A huge battle Royal on the road to Takeover

No Way Jose had his chance to show what he can do. It's nice to see him win a match but it's not a surprise to see him kick off a show. After all his energy and enthusiasm is infectious and he really brings a high-energy attitude to the table.

No Way Jose could defeat Marcel Barthel in the opening contest. Barthel also went as Axel Dieter Jr and it was said to be a good start for the night

Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch teamed up to face Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss in the next match on the show. After a good match, Riddick Moss and Tino Sabbatelli came out on top.

The next match was a Women's Battle Royal to determine who would be going to NXT TakeOver: Houston to face Kairi Sane, Peyton Royce, and Ember Moon for the vacant NXT Women's Championship.

Some notable mentions in the match which some might find surprising were Mercedes Martinez, Santana Garrett, and Candice LeRae.

In the end, Nikki Cross came out victorious. William Regal entered the ring afterwards and was joined by all four women who will be in the big match at NXT TakeOver: Houston. He declared one of these women would be the next NXT Women's Champion.
