Steps WWE should take before HIAC

Hell in the Cell is indeed going to be a completely unpredictable event once again as WWE hasn’t quite built up feuds well enough for a battle matching this big event. The tag team championship is the only title quite steady, with the team winning next week facing the champions in the main event. However, the fate of the losing team is by far unknown. The WWE championship is quite close to getting a certain match which will have either Cena or Ryback in the main event. But two matches do not make a pay per view and here is a list of what else the WWE could try to make the pay per view a real blast.

Dolph Ziggler, a guy who gave almost everything to the WWE in his recent matches doesn’t seem to be in a feud at all. A wrestler like Ziggler not making it to an event like this is indeed sad. All that we have seen of Ziggler till date are some outstanding title shots and a few attempts of trying to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase. Other than this we haven’t seen any attempt in recent times from Ziggler to either cash in the briefcase or even get into a proper feud with someone. There were some expectations when Sheamus was pitched against him, but with him straying away towards the Big Show has now left several Ziggler fans disappointed, including me.

The next important feud that WWE needs to concentrate about is the one between Randy Orton and Alberto Del Rio. With Del Rio attacking Randy outside the ring and losing him a win against Big Show, fans expected a real feud between these two. Unfortunately, the WWE has still stuck to Randy fighting Show and the creative team has to make quick amends to get this feud on track.

The Intercontinental Champion seems to remain idle when HIAC is concerned. Leaving out a title in a pay per view is a sin and with Kofi Kingston at loggerheads with The Miz, it is important that a few strong steps are taken to make this feud look hot and happening for the cell.

Talking about the World Heavyweight Championship, it is a great surprise that we still aren’t sure about who Sheamus is going to really face in the event. Sheamus has been a nomad of sorts these days after the feud with Del Rio. The WWE still hasn’t found a suitable wrestler despite the last minute plans of Sheamus feuding with Show. The battle between these two doesn’t look entertaining and I guess even the WWE is feeling the heat. The best hope that WWE have is to bring in Wade Barrett and try and start something new for Sheamus, as Barrett looks just the opponent that could match the class of Sheamus.

Also the likes of Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro and divas like Eve, Kaitlyn and Layla don’t seem to be heading anywhere close this main event. Pushing these promising wrestlers and getting them a match in this event can surely boost their enthusiasm, and at the same time give the crowd a glimpse of how professional these wrestlers really are.
