“Stone Cold” Steve Austin is often mentioned when fans name their ‘Mount Rushmore’ of Superstars from WWE history.

During a recent interview on CBS Sports’ State of Combat podcast, Austin discussed the topic of WWE’s ‘Mount Rushmore’ and revealed that he believes Brock Lesnar has been the top professional wrestler in the business over the last decade.

“Brock Lesnar creates questions in my mind more than anybody else walking to the ring for the last ten years right now. [John] Cena is up there with the top of the top, but moving past that, Lesnar, when he walks into an arena, or if he steps into an octagon, you always wonder what’s going to happen with that guy, so I’ve got to say Brock Lesnar.”

Host Brian Campbell listed Bruno Sammartino, Hulk Hogan, Austin, The Rock and Cena as Superstars who have defined their generation in WWE, and Austin went on to explain that Lesnar belongs in the same category because he still has the “I’ve got to watch this match factor” whenever he competes in WWE.

What’s next for Brock Lesnar?

Brock Lesnar won the WWE Championship from Kofi Kingston in a nine-second match on the premiere episode of SmackDown on FOX in October.

After defending the title in two minutes against Cain Velasquez at Crown Jewel, “The Beast” will put his title on the line again in a No Holds Barred match against Rey Mysterio at Survivor Series on November 24.
