- Speaking of The Godfather, he was at the WrestleCon convention last weekend as Papa Shango and spoke to Inside The Ropes before WrestleMania. He noted that he spent an hour with 'Taker in the ring the night before. He said that Taker was in "pretty good shape" and that he doesn't think that Taker is "anywhere near quitting." When asked about Taker possibly wrestling at WrestleMania 32 next year, Wright winked and said:
"I don't know nothing. But... he is from there, [it would] be a pretty good place for him to wrestle."
He also spoke about putting on the Papa Shango facepaint again, why he never went to WCW, if he'd ever wrestle again and more. You can check out the full interview by clicking here.
- It was announced earlier this week that WWE and rock legend Gene Simmons have partnered to launch Erebus Pictures, which will finance and produce horror films. The three-picture partnership will start with Temple, which is about a team of highly trained operatives who find themselves trapped inside an isolated military compound after its artificial intelligence is suddenly shut down.
