Stone Cold on his future, television assignments and more

Stone Cold remains one of the most popular wrestlers to grace WWE

In a recent interview with ABC News, WWE legend ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin opened up about his reality show – Broken Skull Challenge, his new beer, the views expressed in his Podcast as well as the game WWE 2k16 and more – reports dailywrestlingnews.com.

On quitting wrestling for movies and television, Stone Cold said: “My exit strategy from pro wrestling wasn’t carved in stone. I retired because of a few neck issues, some neurological issues … and finally after about three years of hunting and fishing, I said to myself, ‘Steve you need to get off you a** and get to L.A.”

The wrestler also stated that after over a decade of wrestling and becoming a household name, going back to an average job didn’t appeal to him, and saw it wise to use the power of his name to break into Hollywood. Austin also noted that he doesn’t fancy doing movies anymore due to the pain of memorizing lines but loved the charm of reality TV.

When asked about his outspoken views on his podcast, Austin stated that even though he is pro-WWE, the franchise doesn’t have control over the content he publishes and always speaks his mind, while making sure not to damage the company.

However, Austin acknowledged that he was critical and had a right to be.

On the question of a comeback, Austin was pretty straightforward with his answer saying: “Naw man, I’m done. I’d rather leave well enough alone.”
