SummerSlam 2019: 3 Matches fans want to see and 2 they don't

SummerSlam will be hosted by Toronto, Canada this year!

The biggest party of the Summer, SummerSlam, will take place on 11th August, live from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.

“We are thrilled to bring WWE’s biggest event of the summer back to Toronto,” said John Saboor, WWE EVP, special events, in a statement. “We look forward to working with our partners at Tourism Toronto and Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment to build a blueprint that welcomes our global fan base to the great city of Toronto.”

With around 100 days left for the event, I'm sure WWE creative heads have started planning out the major angles and matches for SummerSlam this year. While there are many current champions whom I can see entering SummerSlam still as the champion, WWE can throw a surprise and give us several new champions before the event.

With Vince seemingly portraying his willingness to listen to fans, with all the 3 babyfaces winning the top titles of the company at WrestleMania 35, we'll have to wait and see whether that refreshing change was permanent or just for one night.

In this article, let's take a look at 3 Matches fans want to see at SummerSlam 2019, and 2 that they don't. Do let me know what are your thoughts on these matches.

#5 Want to see: Becky Lynch vs Ember Moon - SmackDown Women's Championship

Becky Lynch is set to pull double duty as the Champ at Money in the Bank as she'll defend her RAW and SmackDown Women's Championship against Lacey Evans and Charlotte, respectively.

While there is a chance, I don't see her losing the titles in her first dual defense. Lacey Evans isn't yet ready to lead the roster, and Charlotte has had way too many reigns already. Considering she retains her titles at MITB, there are a lot of interesting matchups possible for SummerSlam. One of them is Ember Moon challenging her for the SD Women's title.

Ember Moon got drafted to SmackDown recently as part of the Superstar Shake-up, and went face to face with Becky 2 Belts immediately. The intensity with which she addressed the champ was amazing, and fans are looking forward to seeing the two clash against each other somewhere down the line.
