SummerSlam this year definitely didn't disappoint, with The Fiend's in-ring WWE debut becoming one of the highlights of the night. There were also four women's matches for the first time as part of a SummerSlam pay-per-view and only one title change which shows that WWE was obviously thinking more about the storylines as part of the show last night.

SummerSlam was an interesting night of entertainment but whilst the company delivered on so many levels, there were a few interesting moments throughout the night where WWE should have thought more about the actual storyline.

Of the 12 matches that took place last night at SummerSlam, there were a number of booking mistakes that WWE made that were the only low points of what was otherwise seen as an interesting night in Canada.

#5 Dolph Ziggler/Goldberg

It's quite obvious that the only reason Goldberg was part of this year's SummerSlam was that he didn't want to walk away from the company with his last match being against The Undertaker at Super ShowDown earlier this year.

Goldberg was horrendous as part of that match in the Middle East and he obviously wanted to find a way to move forward, since in wrestling you are always judged based on your last match.

Ziggler hit two superkicks before he was then given a spear and a Jackhammer and pinned by the former Universal Champion, but this seemingly wasn't enough. Two spears later Goldberg finally walked away and Matt Riddle, despite being in Toronto, wasn't on hand to give him a beating of his own.

Goldberg moved very slowly throughout his match and it was obvious that he was terrified of botching one of his own moves once again, which is why this segment was so hard to watch. WWE could have allowed him to have an actual match like Trish Stratus later in the night, but instead, Ziggler was the man chosen to be fed to Goldberg to once again inflate his ego.
