Superstar to move to RAW, WWE to bring back the Iron Man Match? - 4 ways Nick Aldis can settle huge SmackDown dispute

Nick Aldis is currently the General Manager of WWE SmackDown. Triple H brought the concept back last year after the role was discontinued during the Vince McMahon administration. He has since put Nick in charge of the blue brand, Adam Pearce leads RAW, and Ava runs NXT under Shawn Michaels.

Many people believe that Nick is the best out of the three, but they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. Still, Aldis certainly has the most control over his brand, sometimes ruling with an iron fist.

One feud that needs Aldis to step in is the rivalry between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade. The two keep getting into fights to determine who is better, yet they continue to keep their score tied. As of SmackDown last night, they have a 3-3 record against each other.

Until there is a satisfying conclusion to their feud, the fights will continue. This article will look at ways Nick Aldis can help end this dispute between the two talented stars once and for all.

Below are four ways Nick Aldis can settle the huge WWE SmackDown dispute between Carmelo Hayes and Andrade.

#4. They coud clash in a 30-minute Iron Man Match

The Iron Man Match is one of the most legendary bouts in WWE history. The concept, which was introduced by Pat Patterson, features two superstars clashing for either 30 minutes or one hour. Pinfalls, submissions, count-outs, and disqualifications lead to points and whichever star has the most points at the end of the match wins.

The most infamous Iron Man Match in history is likely the first. WrestleMania 12 was the host as Shawn Michaels and Bret "The Hitman" Hart clashed for the WWE Championship. The Heartbreak Kid won, making the boyhood dream come true.

If any two wrestlers in the company could deliver in an Iron Man Match, it would be Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. 30 minutes might be more television-friendly, but either way, this match type could truly decide the better man once and for all.

#3. Andrade and Carmelo Hayes could battle LA Knight in a Triple Threat Match

An interesting third element has been inserted into the Carmelo Hayes-Andrade rivalry. WWE United States Champion LA Knight has entered the fold. This started courtesy of Melo and Andrade both wanting a shot at The Megastar's title.

Fast forward to WWE SmackDown on Friday and Carmelo Hayes nailed Knight with a cheap shot. To exact revenge, The Megastar interrupted the Andrade-Carmelo match and accidentally cost the 34-year-old star a win. This led to tension brewing between the two.

Instead of the conclusion of the Carmelo Hayes-Andrade rivalry being a bout between them, it could be a Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship. It would satisfy both men if they had a shot at the prestigious gold as Knight is already involved in their heated feud anyway.

#2. They could compete in a Three Stages of Hell Match

A long-time stipulation in pro wrestling dating back probably close to a century is a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. The rules are simple, whichever star wins two out of three falls in a row wins the bout. However, WWE added an interesting twist to this concept over 20 years ago.

The Stamford-based company has the Three Stages of Hell Match. This operates similarly to the initial bout, except this version can include two or three stipulations. For example, WWE NXT hosted one with Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano back in 2019 featuring a standard bout first, then a Street Fight, and lastly, a Steel Cage Match.

This could be the perfect way to blow off the rivalry between Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. They can fight to determine who is better in fall one, then throw out the rules for match two. The final fall could then be something fitting to wrap up the feud with. Perhaps they could fight in a Last Man Standing Match at the end? Only time will tell.

#1. Carmelo Hayes and Andrade could compete in a Loser Leaves WWE SmackDown Match

WWE SmackDown was the A-show in the sports entertainment juggernaut since back in 2019 when the brand moved to FOX. Now that the show has moved to the USA Network, the spot is less clear, but for now, they remain on top.

While the blue brand has numerous big stars, such as Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Randy Orton, it is becoming evident that the show is not big enough for Andrade and Carmelo Hayes. They just cannot stop fighting or talking trash about each other.

Nick Aldis may need to make a major sacrifice for the good of the brand and have the two clash in a Loser Leaves WWE SmackDown Match. The rules are pretty self-explanatory, the losing wrestler must leave the blue brand for good. They could then move to RAW and SmackDown may finally find peace.
