Superstar Ratings for WWE RAW 10th June, 2013
The show opened with Triple H making his way to the ring to face Curtis Axel. The whole RAW turned out to be quite nonsensical, as WWE went back to where they were, instead of advancing with future storylines.
Triple H
Well, he technically faced Axel in two matches and lost both of them, even though Axel never had a chance to gain the upper hand. If anything, it hurts Axel’s credibility more than anything else. Triple H then confronted his father – in – law, and at the end of the night, things ended in a weird, funny segment.
Rating: * ¾
Curtis Axel
Axel was introduced as the new face of the WWE, but he has only one clean victory, and in the rest of the matches was overwhelmed by his opponents. People don’t take him seriously at all, which is the worst part. He needs some pin fall victories under his belt, and the program with Triple H is hurting him more than anything else.
Rating: * ½
Dean Ambrose
For the first time in weeks, Ambrose wasn’t a part of the best match of the night. He fought Kane to a DQ loss, which was a good TV match to set up a future match with Kane.
Rating: **
Kane
Kane will face Ambrose for the WWE United States championship at WWE Payback. This week, he defeated Ambrose via DQ. As it can be expected from a solid worker like Kane, it was a decent match that went on for 10 minutes.
Rating: **
The Miz
I don’t find Miz interesting, not that he was exceptional before. Miz just doesn’t have the psychology that other good workers have. He defeated Cody this week in a short match.
Rating: *
Cody Rhodes
Sadly, Cody has now become a jobber. He’s one of the best talents in the company, yet he loses squash matches to other mid card talents.
Rating: *
Chris Jericho
Jericho once again proved just why he is the best in the business, as he cut a great promo, and won his match with Big E. All in all, a good night for Chris.
Rating: ** ¾
Big E Langston
Big E lost yet another match on RAW, and then was involved in a segment with Kaitlyn. So much for his face turn I suppose.
Rating: *
Antonio Cesaro
Cesaro was finally back in action on RAW, as he defeated Sin Cara. Zeb was on commentary, and he might manage Cesaro next, which is exactly what Cesaro needs.
Rating: * ¾
Sin Cara
Sin Cara made his RAW return and lost to Cesaro. Nothing special about it.
