Surprising hint on RAW, Money in the Bank spoiler?- 4 signs Drew McIntyre will lose at WWE Clash at the Castle in Scotland

Drew McIntyre is days away from scripting a magical end to his hunt for the World Heavyweight Championship. The Scottish Warrior will lock horns with Damian Priest for the World Heavyweight Title at the Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event in Glasgow, Scotland, on June 15, 2024.

The former WWE Champion is the unanimous favorite to walk out of the upcoming Premium Live Event with the title. WWE fans believe it is the moment he deserves to live in front of his home crowd in Scotland.

Yet, the predictability of his win could be countered by other hints sprinkled throughout the build-up to this match. Here, we look at four signs that hint at Drew McIntyre's loss in his championship match against Damian Priest at Clash at the Castle:

#1. Huge win on WWE RAW's final episode before Clash at the Castle

Drew McIntyre picked up a huge win on the final edition of WWE RAW before Clash at the Castle. He locked horns with Finn Balor in the main event and defeated The Judgment Day member to get the heel stable barred from ringside during the title match at the upcoming PLE.

Usually, we do not see the challenger hold the higher ground before a big championship match if a title change is in the plans. The Scottish Warrior's big win on RAW could be a huge hint at his potential loss against Damian Priest now that the odds have moved in his favor.

#2. Extensive shots at CM Punk throughout the build-up

Drew McIntyre won the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL after defeating Seth Rollins. However, the RAW Superstar lost the title in five minutes and 46 seconds after being distracted by CM Punk. The Best in The World didn't take kindly to the mockery and attacked McIntyre, allowing Damian Priest to cash his Money in the bank contract successfully.

It is worth noting that McIntyre has continued to take shots at CM Punk throughout his title feud. With The Judgment Day barred from ringside, we could see The Straight Edge Superstar make a surprise return, costing The Scottish Warrior the World Heavyweight Title again.

#3. Finn Balor's suspicious actions on WWE RAW

Finn Balor has spent the last couple of weeks sandwiched between Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan on WWE RAW. Most recently, he was spotted stealing Morgan's hotel room key card, which she had given to Dominik. Balor's actions on the red brand have raised suspicions, and he could have a dangerous plan in the works.

Although The Judgment Day is barred from ringside, The Prince may appear anyway, leading the heel stable. If Balor has to target Priest's championship, he could either help the fellow Judgment Day member retain the gold or attack him after the match. Either way, Damian Priest will have to walk out of Clash at the Castle as the champion for a potential title feud with Finn Balor and a subsequent Judgment Day breakup.

#4. The upcoming Money in the Bank Premium Live Event

Drew McIntyre picking up a fairytale victory to become World Heavyweight Champion in front of his home crowd is a tempting booking decision and probably the right one, too. However, Triple H may be quietly working on a different kind of poetic ending that reunites The Scottish Psychopath with his deserved piece of gold.

McIntyre saw his last two world championship reigns end because of the Money in the Bank contract. If he fails to win the World Heavyweight Championship at Clash at the Castle, Drew will be an instant favorite to become the next Mr. Money in the Bank in the namesake PLE next month. McIntyre has done incredible work as a heel on RAW, and adding the briefcase would further elevate his character to a menacing heel on the red brand.
