WWE Survivor Series 2018: 3 mistakes made by WWE
So the Monday Night Raw vs Smackdown Live PPV is over. WWE Survivor Series was a show that will be criticized by many people for the booking decisions that WWE made. This is usually the one PPV where WWE clearly tells us which show is the A show. And this year they proved it again that Monday Night Raw is miles ahead of SmackDown.
Wrestling wise, the show was really good at some points and we can not say that the fans got bored while watching the event. For example, WWE excellently used the opportunity to turn Charlotte Flair heel while protecting her at the same time. Instead of giving us a proper result, they had Ronda win by DQ and then she was destroyed by Charlotte. Honestly, this was the best part for me on the entire show.
In the main event, it first felt like that Daniel Bryan might be getting punished by the WWE for something he did. But it was a clever way of booking the match and letting Bryan dominate the later part of the match. Everyone knew that Brock Lesnar was not going to lose and he did eventually win after hitting Bryan with the F-5.
So Survivor Series did have some ups, but surely WWE made some major mistakes. In this article, we will talk about the three decisions that WWE got wrong at Survivor Series 2018-
#3 RAW clean sweeps SmackDown Live
If we don't consider the pre-show victory that SmackDown got in the 10-man tag team match, the blue brand left Survivor Series empty-handed. Monday Night RAW won every single match on the main show. There was so much talk about an opportunity that WWE had to make SmackDown look strong. But it was even worse than last year.
Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley were the survivors in the Men's Elimination Match while Nia Jax took Raw to victory in the Women's Elimination Match.
It was an embarrassing night for SmackDown Live and it is really sad that after all good that has been happening to the blue brand, it's still considered to be the B-show.
