WWE Survivor Series: 5 Possible finishes for the Women's Triple Threat
For the first time ever in WWE, the Raw Women’s Champion, SmackDown Women’s Champion and the NXT Women’s Champion will square off against one another Sunday at Survivor Series. Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Shayna Baszler will battle it out in one of the most highly anticipated matches on the card.
Lynch and Bayley have been two of the biggest driving forces for the Women's Revolution, but Baszler is looking to write the next chapter. The two time NXT Women's Champion has been on a tear since recapturing the gold at Evolution last October. The Queen of Spades has knocked off the likes of Bianca Belair, Io Shirai, Mia Yim, and Candice Larae en route to breaking Asuka's record of most combined days as Champion. Now she has her sights set on two of the best the "main roster" has to offer.
While Baszler has been running roughshod in NXT, 'The Man' is arguably on the best runs in company history. Her accolades have been well documented, but one that cannot be overlooked in this match up is Lynch holding the only victory over Baszler's friend and training partner Ronda Rousey. Meanwhile, Bayley's new attitude has her on a career resurgence. The SmackDown Women's Champion is out to prove that she is a force to be reckoned with.
There's a number of ways this match could go. Let's take a look at a few options:
#1 Becky Lynch wins outright
As much as it would please the Becky Lynch fans out there, I find this outcome to be the least likely to happen. There just isn't much to gain by Lynch winning. I'd argue a loss does more for 'The Man' in the long run.
Lynch has never been billed as an unstoppable force. What makes her so good is her toughness and willingness to take on any challenger. She'll fight to the bitter end, but she can be beaten. A loss at Survivor Series would do well to remind the crowd and the locker room, that she has vulnerabilities. It would also give Lynch renewed energy to prove herself heading into WrestleMania season.
A Lynch victory can't be ruled out though. Many fans were positive that Sasha Banks was going to win at Hell in a Cell, but here we are.
