Tension with The Tribal Chief, Bloodline turmoil? - 4 signs Jacob Fatu will betray Solo Sikoa before 2024 ends

Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu are both prominent members of The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown. Fatu has acknowledged Sikoa as his Tribal Chief, and has obeyed the leader of the faction since his WWE debut on the June 21 edition of the blue brand.

Triple H has already referred to the former MLW star as a "game changer" in the promotion. The veteran has spent his time on SmackDown in Solo Sikoa's shadow so far, but could be planning on betraying the 31-year-old in the months ahead.

Listed below are four signs Jacob Fatu will betray Solo Sikoa by the end of 2024.

Cody Rhodes kicked off this past Friday's edition of SmackDown, but was quickly interrupted by Solo Sikoa. The leader of The Bloodline wanted another shot at the Undisputed WWE Championship, but The American Nightmare had something else in mind. Rhodes suggested he defend the title against Jacob Fatu instead of battling Sikoa again.

Sikoa will challenge Cody Rhodes for the title in a Steel Cage match this Friday night on SmackDown's premiere on the USA Network. Fatu could secretly be jealous that Sikoa is getting another title opportunity after Rhodes brought his name up on SmackDown, and may decide to leave The Bloodline before the end of the year.

#3. Jacob Fatu demolished Roman Reigns last month

Roman Reigns returned last month at SummerSlam during the Undisputed WWE Championship match between Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes. The Head of the Table cost Sikoa the chance to become champion, and attacked him once again on the August 16 edition of SmackDown.

However, Jacob Fatu showed up and brutalized Roman Reigns. The Bloodline was then able to capitalize and Powerbombed Reigns through the commentary table ringside. Roman Reigns has not returned to WWE television since the attack, and Fatu may believe that he is more a threat to the 39-year-old than Solo Sikoa could ever be.

The Bloodline was the most feared faction in the company while Roman Reigns was the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. Reigns lost the title to Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania XL, and went on hiatus for several months before his return at SummerSlam. Sikoa is determined to bring the title back to The Bloodline, but has failed to do so far.

If Sikoa comes up short in the Steel Cage match against Rhodes this Friday night on SmackDown, his stablemates may begin to question whether he is capable of bringing The Bloodline back to glory. Fatu could approach Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa following the title match on SmackDown, and suggest the group move on without Sikoa as their leader.

#1. Solo Sikoa has taken a title away from Jacob Fatu

Tonga Loa suffered an eye injury earlier this year, and Jacob Fatu replaced him in the number one contendership Gauntlet match on the July 1 episode of SmackDown. The 32-year-old and Tama Tonga won the Gauntlet match, and went on to defeat #DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships on the August 2 edition of the blue brand.

However, Sikoa stripped Jacob Fatu of the title on the August 23 episode of SmackDown, and named the veteran his personal Enforcer in The Bloodline. Fatu accepted the change, but could be struggling with Sikoa's decision behind the scenes. The former champion may decide to betray Sikoa for taking the tag title away from him, and pursue a career as a singles star in WWE before 2024 comes to an end.
