The Beast to retire, a gigantic missed opportunity? 3 Superstars whose WWE future seems uncertain
WWE Superstars are thriving in this new era. Under the leadership of Triple H, the product has risen to new levels and has garnered worldwide praise. Superstars like LA Knight, Damian Priest, and Gunther have all received their flowers.
But even though many wrestlers have excelled under the current regime, some are struggling to find their way either due to lack of storyline, real-life injuries, or lackluster booking.
Here's a look at three WWE stars whose future in the company seems uncertain:
#3. Big E may never return to in-ring action
Big E is perhaps the standout star in this group. The former WWE Champion has been absent from in-ring duties since March 2022 due to a neck injury he sustained during a match against Sheamus and Ridge Holland during an episode of SmackDown.
Despite fans eagerly anticipating his comeback, it may not happen at all.
Even now, Big E continues to await medical clearance. The New Day member has been urged by multiple sources to avoid in-ring stuff. As a result, it appears unlikely that he will compete inside WWE's squared circle anytime soon.
#2. Omos hasn't received a push since Vince McMahon's departure
The seven-foot-two-inch WWE Superstar has not competed since April 2024. While Omos is certainly uber-talented, one cannot help but wonder what the future holds for The Nigerian Giant.
It seems that the push he received during Vince McMahon's reign has come to an end. Despite being fully fit, Omos has not featured in a storyline for a long time. So, could this be the end of his tenure with the Stamford-based promotion?
#1. WWE may have seen the last of The Beast, Brock Lesnar
There has been a lot of talk in recent months about the possible comeback of Brock Lesnar. The Beast Incarnate's last appearance for the Sports Entertainment juggernaut came at SummerSlam 2023.
While Triple H recently claimed that the company was open to having a conversation with Lesnar, media reports have claimed that the promotion's legal team has advised the Paul Levesque-led regime to stay away from The Beast amid the ongoing legal proceedings in the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon.
That aside, it's also important to remember that Brock is 47. While he is no doubt in peak physical condition, the former Universal Champion may feel the urge to retire soon.
Granted, this is all just speculation, but there are also several reports suggesting that talks of a comeback are virtually nonexistent. With that in mind, perhaps The Beast might consider hanging up his wrestling gear for good.
