The biggest winners and losers of last night's Raw (April 8)

The Raw after WrestleMania is usually among the most memorable shows of the year and indeed, we did see some notable debuts and moments, but they mostly fell flat and signaled an ominous creative direction that the company will be taking after WrestleMania.

Aside from the blatant bait and switch with Seth Rollins and Kofi Kingston, there were numerous other unexciting angles set up last night, warning signs that the infamous post-WrestleMania slump is on its way and that viewers should beware. A single Undertaker appearance doesn't change that. He'll be gone by next week.

Who got the most and least out of last night's show?

Losers: The Revival

For the second night in a row, The Revival lost to a pin by Curt Hawkins, who retained his championship along with Zack Ryder.

At this point, the only hope for The Revival if they are to...revive their fortunes is for a move to SmackDown in next week's superstar shakeup. Superstars and acts bounce back, but staying on Raw guarantees they won't do so for the foreseeable future.

Winner: Lars Sullivan

Lars Sullivan finally made his debut last night, taking out Kurt Angle who got some measure of revenge on Baron Corbin for his underwhelming WrestleMania match.

This instantly puts Sullivan on the map, and while there's every indication that he's just the monstrous flavor of the month for somebody like Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns to eventually conquer and send into comedic irrelevance (ask Braun Strowman), for now, his stock is one that you should buy.

It's going to make the programming a chore to watch though. Lars Sullivan didn't exactly set the world on fire in NXT and he lacks the charisma that made Braun Strowman's big run so entertaining.
