The biggest winners and losers of last night's Raw (October 28)

After a catastrophically embarrassing rating last Friday with SmackDown on FS1, WWE was hoping to make a better impression on Monday's show. It was the last main roster program before Crown Jewel, so how well did the company do in building up that event? Who got the most and least out of last night's Raw? Let's take a look.
Loser: Asuka
Asuka's heel turn has gone well, and she's reinvented herself alongside Kairi Sane, spitting mist and laughing maniacally. Spitting mist in Paige's face was a great supplement to the heel act and getting the darker character over. But the video above is the most notable thing of the night.
Asuka looks like she's being built as Becky's next challenger, with their history going back to last December being highlighted. The thing is, though, that she doesn't have much of a chance of winning. The more than likely scenario is that Asuka will lose.
We've seen this with Asuka too many times to get optimistic. She's on a roll, then suddenly it all comes crashing down, and this time, the accident looks obvious. The best Asuka can realistically hope for is a soft landing after Becky inevitably gets her win back from the Royal Rumble.
Winner: Buddy Murphy
This match wasn't anything special, but Buddy Murphy got exposure and beat R-Truth in a singles contest, and it's notable that the former Cruiserweight Champion didn't waste his time going after the 24/7 Championship that R-Truth still holds.
Hopefully these victories will lead somewhere. As of now, it's a good way to get Murphy the exposure that he wasn't getting on the Blue brand. With a bit more time, he could become a solid upper midcard player on Monday Night Raw.
