The end of a legendary career; iconic dream match - 6 Early predictions for WWE WrestleMania 41 (September 29, 2024)

Planning the high-profile showdowns for WrestleMania often takes over a year of storytelling to build up to the event. Vince McMahon utilized that strategy throughout his tenure in running the company, and Triple H has kept it going.

All four major singles titles have changed hands since WrestleMania 40. Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns, while Liv Morgan won the vacant Women's World title shortly after The Show of Shows.

Gunther and Nia Jax beat Damian Priest and Bayley, respectively, to win titles at SummerSlam. Will all four titleholders enter 2025 and Las Vegas as Champions? Here are six early predictions for WrestleMania 41 in 2025.

#6. There won't be any tag team title matches on the card

Even with two days of matches, the tag team titles will likely be defended on episodes of RAW and SmackDown before the weekend. It was easier to book the belts over the last two years because they were unified.

They were split up this year and have regularly been left off of premium live events. With many other big singles matches likely taking spots, the WWE and World Tag Team Championships will miss the stage of WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

The same fate may await the Women's Tag titles unless a top star like Bianca Belair or Charlotte Flair is a member of the Championship duo.

#5. Fans could get two dream matches featuring female talent

While they currently hold tag team gold, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill should break up at or before the Royal Rumble. The women's tag team division has little chance of overcoming the super faces.

For that reason alone, the two powerhouses need to disband and face each other at The Show of Shows. The other female dream match will feature two highly athletic blonde superstars.

Charlotte Flair should be back from a knee injury by the end of the year. She'll likely be thrust immediately into title contention. If she doesn't win the title when she returns, The Queen will face someone who can match her athleticism.

Tiffany Stratton may cash in Money in the Bank contract before 'Mania, and she could face The Queen at WrestleMania 41.

#4. A battle for Bloodline supremacy at WrestleMania 41

After over seven years of closing The Show of Shows, Roman Reigns doesn't need to do it again at WrestleMania 41. Those spots should be reserved for other big Championship contests.

Solo Sikoa usurped Roman's spot atop The Bloodline on SmackDown after WrestleMania 40. The Original Tribal Chief only returned to action at SummerSlam. He's still a part-time performer who will probably disappear after Survivor Series: WarGames.

When he returns to action, WWE will be on the Road to WrestleMania. The two Tribal Chiefs can then battle it out for the Ula Fala and leadership of The Bloodline.

#3. CM Punk could win the Royal Rumble and challenge Gunther

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk were the final two participants in this year's Royal Rumble. The American Nightmare is now a Champion, while Punk missed out on The Show of Shows.

Punk tried to insert himself into the title picture but was interrupted by his hated rival, Drew McIntyre. The two will battle inside Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood, but will that truly end one of the best feuds in wrestling?

The Voice of the Voiceless is still looking for his WrestleMania main event. He could get it in Las Vegas by winning the 2025 Royal Rumble and challenging Gunther at WrestleMania 41.

#2. Bron Breakker could retire John Cena

John Cena announced that he'd be hanging up his boots in 2025 and WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will be his last 'Mania. He'll compete at some PLEs before The Showcase of the Immortals.

The star who retires Cena will get an enormous rub from doing so. It shouldn't be someone who's nearly 40. Cena's already battled AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins. LA Knight is already over and near 40.

Bron Breakker makes the most sense as the person for the honor. It was strange that he lost the Intercontinental Championship after a month. Big things are clearly in his future. If he doesn't regain the title or win the Royal Rumble, expect the 26-year-old to retire The Face That Runs the Place.

#1. The Rock could challenge Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship

After walking out with his Peoples Championship as if he won it as Cody Rhodes did at WrestleMania 40, The Rock planted the seed for a future match. He handed something to Rhodes, and it's still unknown what was exchanged between them.

WWE still wants The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at some point. While a dream match, the pairing would steal another main-event spot away from a deserving full-time star for the second straight year.

Unless dynamics shift greatly between now and 'Mania 41, The Rock seems like a good bet for a featured match in Las Vegas. He only comes back for huge showcases. A match with The American Nightmare would be a blockbuster dream match that has already been teased.
