The Judgment Day to dissolve after three WWE Superstars quit citing backstage frustration? Possible scenario explored
The Judgment Day is seemingly in a state of turmoil on WWE RAW. The group, which was started by Adam Copeland (FKA Edge), Damian Priest, and Rhea Ripley in 2022, no longer boasts the same aggression it used to. The current members of the stable are more concerned about individual aspirations. The Judgment Day has faced several hiccups since WWE SummerSlam 2024.
The faction turned on The Nightmare and The Archer of Infamy at the event and replaced them with Liv Morgan and Carlito. Later, Morgan added Raquel Rodriguez to the faction as her bodyguard. In recent times, tensions have flared between Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor. As the in-fighting continues, three members could quit the company after a potential betrayal from Liv Morgan, Dominik Mysterio, and Raquel Rodriguez. The stars in question are Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Carlito.
Liv, Dom, and Raquel have seemingly distanced themselves from the other Judgment Day members in recent times. As noted above, there have been a lot of differences between Dominik and Finn in recent weeks. It started with The Prince not being supportive of Dominik's desire to win the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther. In a backstage segment, Balor looked visibly disgusted when Dom revealed his championship desires.
The former WWE Universal Champion also didn't come out to help Dominik win the number one contender's Fatal Four-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Title on RAW last week. Dirty Dom felt he was let down by his teammates. As a result, The Latino Cheat had a verbal altercation with Finn this past Monday.
The 27-year-old took a jab at Balor when he said that unlike the 43-year-old, he defeated Damian Priest in a singles match and got closer to the World Heavyweight Championship than The Prince ever did. The RAW star took that personally and threatened Dom to say that again.
However, Morgan and other members intervened to pacify the two. Balor then asked Dominik and Carlito if they would step up in place of him and JD McDonagh against the War Raiders next week on WWE RAW. Dominik agreed and said that he got Balor's back.
However, in a stunning twist, Finn Balor's potential interference could cost Dominik and Carlito the tag team match. Later, Dirty Dom, alongside Morgan and Raquel, could betray Balor and McDonagh during the duo's upcoming World Tag Team Championship match against Erik and Ivar, leading to the disbandment of The Judgment Day, with Finn, JD, and Carlito possibly quitting the company. However, the angle is speculative at this point.
Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor might feud before WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2024
As things look rocky between Dirty Dom and Finn Balor, there are chances that the two might have a full-blown rivalry in the next few days. And their rivalry might very well start before the Survivor Series: WarGames PLE.
WWE analyst Sam Roberts recently said that there was a possibility of Liv Morgan betraying Dominik and walking away with Finn Balor. While speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, he noted that Balor could steal The Miracle Kid from Dirty Dom and cast other Judgment Day members out.
However, Roberts admitted that there was a greater possibility of The Demon getting betrayed by his stablemates.
"Unless the idea is to somehow like Finn and Liv go and do something and Dom, and the rest of them are cast out, and that's how this whole thing starts; that's possible! But I more see Finn Balor being turned on," he said.
In either case, a full-blow rivalry between Dominik and Balor looks certain, and Liv Morgan could play a vital role in it. It remains to be seen how Balor and Mysterio's relationship takes shape in the coming weeks.
