On tonight's episode of WWE NXT, The Revival returned to Full Sail University after almost three years to compete in an NXT Tag Team Championship match against Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish of The Undisputed Era. The two teams put up a brilliant match but in the end, Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder got pinned by The Undisputed Era.

In a post-match interview with WWE, 'The Top Guys' reflected on how it felt to return to the black-and-gold brand after so many years and voiced their opinions on The Undisputed Era.

Dawson and Wilder feel they proved a point

Speaking to a backstage correspondent, Dash Wilder said that although they lost, they proved a point as they got to show the world that how much they love tag team wrestling.

Maybe we didn't win tonight, maybe we didn't draw tonight, maybe we just straight up lost tonight but we get to come back here where we started as a tag team five and a half years ago. We got to show the world that this is what we love, like, this is what gives me goosebumps every night. This means a lot to us.

Dawson joined the conversation by saying that it was not a loss for them. As long as his wife and child are watching him perform, it is a win for him and The Revival. He also said that they were the tag team to build the division in NXT and he was proud of that.

He also congratulated and praised The Undisputed Era and said that they would be happy if the champions give them another title shot soon. However, both Dash and Dawson were adamant that although the Undisputed Era are good, they are still not on The Revival's level.
