According to PWinsider.com, The Rock was the main factor in getting Ronda Rousey to do their Wrestlemania moment with The Authority. He reportedly went to UFC President Dana White personally, in order to convince him to sign off on the segment.

In hindsight, it was a great idea as it got both WWE and UFC tonnes of mainstream media coverage. What it does suggest, however, is that White may not be too keen on Rousey actually wrestling next year.

It has been reported that if she can’t get physical, she will still be involved in some way at Wrestlemania 32 and possibly even the next night on RAW.

WWE officials are said to see Rousey as one of the “family” and she is well-liked backstage.
