The Rock to bring a new authority figure; 5 stars to be fired after title change? 5 things The Final Boss can do at WrestleMania 41
The Rock returned at the end of WWE Bad Blood to send what seemed like a warning to Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. It was expected that The Final Boss would explain his shocking return on SmackDown last week, but his appearance in Atlanta was probably just a one-off.
WWE will likely bring him back during the WrestleMania season next year. So without further ado, let's take a look at five things The Rock can do at WrestleMania 41:
#5. The Rock could replace Nick Aldis with Ava as the SmackDown General Manager
The Rock is a member of TKO's Board of Directors, so he can misuse his power in WWE if he wants to. He tried to do so before WrestleMania XL, but the outrage from fans forced the company to pivot.
The Bloodline is the most powerful faction in the Sports Entertainment juggernaut. If The Great One takes charge of it, it would also have a lot of power backstage.
This may lead to SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis having problems with The Brahma Bull because he is a strong authority figure and usually does not allow talents to question his decisions.
The People's Champion could pull strings behind the scenes and book Nick Aldis to put his job on the line against someone of his choosing at WrestleMania 41. It could be someone like Jacob Fatu or even Kevin Owens who could have problems in the future with the SmackDown GM based on recent events.
Aldis could lose at WrestleMania 41 and go on to become a full-time pro wrestler in WWE. The Rock could then reveal that his daughter, Ava, the GM of NXT, would take control of SmackDown after The Show of Shows.
#4. The Rock could help the Tongans retain the WWE Tag Team Title
Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are the current WWE Tag Team Champions. It is likely that they will defend their title against The Usos once Jimmy and Jey reunite.
WWE could book the match at WrestleMania 41 next year. The Rock could take over The Bloodline before The Showcase of The Immortals. He may show up during the potential encounter in Las Vegas and help the Tongans retain the gold.
#3. A match with Roman Reigns
The Rock stared down Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood. Hence, it is possible that The Final Boss goes after his cousin when he is back. He could delay going after The American Nightmare or deal with the latter before WrestleMania.
The Hollywood star could then feud with Reigns for the Ula Fala and the status of the undisputed Tribal Chief. WWE could book the dream match in the main event of Night Two at WrestleMania 41
In another scenario, The Brahma Bull could face the Original Tribal Chief on Night One for a shot at Cody Rhodes' Undisputed WWE Championship on Sunday.
#2. A Triple Threat Match
A Triple Threat Match between The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns seems like the most likely scenario right now. As The Final Boss stared down both The American Nightmare and the Original Tribal Chief, he might feud with both of them after his return.
The problems within the Anoa'i family may become a part of the Undisputed WWE Championship picture on the Road to WrestleMania 41. Reigns wants a rematch for the title and his position as the Tribal Chief back, while The Rock may also set his sights on the gold after being revealed as Solo Sikoa's Tribal Chief.
This may lead to Rhodes vs. Rock vs. Reigns at The Show of Shows in Las Vegas next year.
#1. The Rock could become the new Undisputed WWE Champion and fire 5 big stars
The People's Champ made it very clear on the RAW after WrestleMania XL that he wanted the Undisputed WWE Championship. So, he will likely demand a match from Cody Rhodes for it when he's back.
The Final Boss may add a huge stipulation to the match to make it the biggest main event of WrestleMania in WWE history. He could announce that Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn would be fired if The American Nightmare lost in Las Vegas.
This would serve as a punishment for Reigns, Jimmy, Jey, and Zayn (if he reunites with them) for stepping up to The Great One. Rhodes losing his title and allies would also be the ultimate punishment for the 39-year-old from his biggest rival in the Stamford-based promotion.
