The Rock confirmed for new sci-fi comedy movie franchise, Wyatts back together?
- The film press are reporting that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be the star of a new sci-fi action comedy franchise, called Alpha Squad Seven. The DreamWorks production is said to already have 2 movies planned out, and will be set in space.
While it’s too early to know the plot, it will involve a 4 man team and is said to be a cross between Guardians of the Galaxy and Independence Day.

The Rock is reuniting with producer Beau Flynn, who he worked with on Journey 2, Hercules and San Andreas.
