The Rock to confront 9-time WWE champion on RAW's Netflix premiere ahead of major feud? Potential spoiler analyzed

The Rock made a surprising comeback earlier this year at Bad Blood 2024, where he set his sights on Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and Jimmy Uso. Before departing, The People’s Champion counted to three on his fingers and made a throat-slash gesture.

Fans eagerly await another appearance by Rocky in the Stamford-based promotion. It would seem that The Final Boss’ comeback is almost upon us. The latest episode of the red brand saw a subtle hint that could indicate The Brahma Bull may be appearing at RAW's season premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025. This could lead to him confronting Roman Reigns, who is a 9-time champion in WWE.

In a backstage segment following CM Punk and Seth Rollins’ altercation, Adam Pearce officially announced a singles match between them for the kick-off edition of RAW on Netflix. Eagle-eyed spectators pointed to The Rock’s image on the production truck and when the camera panned on Pearce and the truck with The Great One’s image, the GM noted that January 6 would be a “way bigger night” than fans expected.

Following this massive hint, there is a possibility that after Roman Reigns overcomes Solo Sikoa and reclaims his Ula Fala, The Brahma Bull could make another shocking return and confront the Original Tribal Chief.

He could then reveal himself as the true mastermind behind the fall of The Bloodline in an intense face-off. This could set the stage for the megastars' much-awaited feud that could lead to a showdown at WrestleMania 41.

Former WWE employee believes The Rock could misuse his powers to kick Triple H out

While speaking on The Coach and Bro Wrestling Show on Backstage Pass, ex-WWE employee Jonathan Coachman, who was The Rock's colleague during his time in the Stamford-based promotion, shared his views on the 'Final Boss' gimmick.

He predicted that The Rock would misuse his powers as a TKO board member and kick Triple H out of his position as CCO.

"I want fans to just look back over the last eight months and look at the documentary that came out after WrestleMania. It was delayed too much because The Rock had to have full editing control, and I love him. My relationship with The Rock is a friendly talent relationship. It's not 'I am an executive. I'm sitting in a boardroom with him.' I think because of all the brands he has built, he can be ruthless. It's Rock first, his company first, and then everybody else second. He won't blink an eye at steamrolling Triple H straight out of the building if this means they can head that way," Coachman said.

At the WrestleMania XL Kickoff Show in Las Vegas, fans saw tension between Triple H and The Rock escalate as The Great One angrily told The Game to fix things after Cody Rhodes decided it was his right as the Royal Rumble winner to challenge Roman Reigns at The Show of Shows. This move would add a new layer for his upcoming storylines and might plant seeds for new programs in the future.

However, this is all hypothetical at this point. It remains to be seen whether The Final Boss returns on January 6 to embark on a new journey.
