The Rock to fight his arch-nemesis at WrestleMania 41? It's not Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes!

The Rock is back, and the fantasy booking has already begun. With The Final Boss now in the picture, the WWE Universe is looking months into the future to WrestleMania 41. There have been several rumors suggesting a match with either Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns. However, in a shocking twist, could The Great One end up facing his arch-enemy instead?

While The Rock taking on Cody Rhodes or Roman Reigns would be interesting, recent reports suggest he could face someone else at The Show of Shows. In this case, that someone else is a superstar he is all too familiar with, John Cena. And if Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is to be believed, a match between The People's Champ and The Leader of the Cenation at WrestleMania 41 is a huge possibility.

Meltzer noted that during The Rock's backstage promo at Bad Blood, The Final Boss addressed three superstars, including Dusty Rhodes and John Cena. The People's Champ stared at the picture of Cena and asked the latter to ''go eat some fruity pebbles," and in response, The Franchise Player posted a picture of the same on Instagram.

This, coupled with the fact that their two matches in 2012 and 2013 were part of the highest-grossing PLEs of all time, makes it that much more realistic.

"Others noted Rock walking past a truck with John Cena’s face on it and saying, 'Go eat some fruit pebbles,' and Cena, who will be in a major match at 'Mania, responded, posting a photo of Fruity Pebbles, leading people to believe that the two would have a final match after splitting their two WrestleMania matches in 2012 and 2013, which were the two highest grossing and obviously will remain the two highest grossing pro wrestling PPV shows of all-time," Dave Meltzer said.

A match of that caliber, especially considering it will be Cena's last WrestleMania, would be amazing. But at this point, it's nothing more than speculation.

The Rock and Solo Sikoa might be planning something nefarious

While there is no telling if The Rock will face John Cena at WrestleMania 41, one thing is for sure: he has beef with Cody Rhodes and possibly Roman Reigns. The Final Boss' return to WWE TV at Bad Blood was shocking, and so were his actions. He made a few gestures that will definitely need some explanation.

However, one thing that fans have seemingly forgotten since then is Solo Sikoa. After all, The American Nightmare and The OTC were facing The Bloodline before The Rock came out. Well, perhaps this was all "part of the plan" because Sikoa certainly seems to think so, as he told a fan the same as soon as The Final Boss made his emphatic appearance.

It will be interesting to see if this proves true in the coming weeks. Is this all part of some conspiracy between The People's Champ and The Street Champion? We will just have to wait and see.
