The Rock to recruit 7-time WWE champion's services to take out Roman Reigns? Exploring the chances

It seems as though The Rock's return is almost upon us. Having previously made his presence felt at WWE Bad Blood, fans are eagerly anticipating his next appearance. However, before that, he may want to settle some business, particularly with Roman Reigns. The Final Boss may not be happy with the OTC, and as such could recruit a seven-time WWE champion to take him out.

The seven-time champion is one, whose work Roman Reigns is very familiar with. This is especially true when it comes to this superstar's recent work, as it's none other than Drew McIntyre. The Chosen One is a three-time World Champion, a one-time Intercontinental Champion, a two-time tag team champion, and a one-time NXT Champion.

The Scottish Warrior has been on a warpath of late, with his anger being solely focused on the OG Bloodline. So, with that in mind, The Rock may approach him for help.

While it is pretty clear why Drew McIntyre is annoyed with Roman Reigns, some may wonder why The Great One would have beef with his cousin. Well, since returning to WWE TV in early 2024, the 52-year-old has done a lot for the OTC. Not only did The Rock do everything possible to ensure Roman retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, but he also suffered the wrath of fans.

He gave up his People's Champ persona and became The Final Boss. He even acknowledged Reigns as his Tribal Chief. So, seeing the latter team up with Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood must have been disappointing. With that in mind, The Rock could recruit McIntyre to do his dirty work and take out the Original Tribal Chief. But at the end of the day, this is nothing more than speculation.

The Rock is expected to appear on RAW's season premiere on Netflix

As mentioned earlier, The Rock's return to television is highly anticipated. But the question is, when will he make his comeback? Well, with the year almost over, it's a guarantee The Great One will make his presence felt in 2025. And the best part is it might be sooner, rather than later.

During a recent live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes suggested The Final Boss would be present on RAW's season premiere on Netflix on January 6, 2025. The special episode is expected to be a huge one. Many superstars will be there, including Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns. The fierce rivals will engage in Tribal Combat for the prestigious Ula Fala.

Considering how important the occasion is, it will make sense for The Final Boss to make an appearance either during or after the match. He could very well kick off the next chapter in The Bloodline saga at the event.
