The Rock surprisingly turns face, new alliance teased? - 4 things The Great One could do on WWE SmackDown

The Rock has seemingly been spotted ahead of tonight's edition of WWE SmackDown. This week's episode of the blue brand will air live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. Tonight's show is the first edition of SmackDown following WWE Crown Jewel 2024.

The Brahma Bull did not make an appearance at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia but did show up in the closing moments of Bad Blood last month to have a staredown with Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. There has been some speculation that the legend was spotted ahead of tonight's episode of SmackDown on social media.

Listed below are four things The Rock could do tonight on WWE SmackDown.

The Bloodline has undergone many changes since The Rock competed alongside Roman Reigns in the main event of Night 1 of WrestleMania XL. Solo Sikoa has named himself the new Tribal Chief, and Roman Reigns is now feuding with his former faction on SmackDown.

Most fans are expecting The Final Boss to align with the new version of the faction, but he could make a stunning decision if he appears later tonight on SmackDown. The Brahma Bull could come to the rescue of Roman Reigns if the new Bloodline attacks The Head of the Table and become a babyface moving forward on WWE television.

#3. The veteran could attack Cody Rhodes

The Rock and Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes had an intense confrontation on the RAW following WrestleMania XL earlier this year. The 52-year-old warned The American Nightmare that he would be coming after his title when he returned to the company.

Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther to win the Men's Crown Jewel Championship at the premium live event in Saudi Arabia this past Saturday night. Rhodes could come down to the ring to address the crowd tonight on SmackDown, and The People's Champion could blindside him with an attack to ignite their rivalry ahead of Survivor Series.

#2. The Great One could set a trap for Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn accidentally hit Roman Reigns with a Helluva Kick following the six-man tag team match at Crown Jewel. Solo Sikoa guided The Bloodline to victory by pinning Roman Reigns after connecting with his second Samoan Spike of the contest.

Jey Uso invited the former Honorary Uce to have a conversation with Roman Reigns tonight on WWE SmackDown. However, The Rock and the new version of The Bloodline could ambush Zayn backstage during tonight's show. Roman Reigns and The Usos would likely then agree that they need Zayn on their side to combat The Bloodline.

#1. The Final Boss could make his allegiance to the new Bloodline known tonight

The Bloodline may be planning to interrupt the conversation between Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Sami Zayn tonight on WWE SmackDown. While The OG Bloodline may be prepared for that, they would likely be caught off guard if The Rock showed up tonight as well.

The legend could show up in the final moments of tonight's SmackDown to pose with Solo Sikoa's faction after they attack their rivals. The Rock may also decide to acknowledge Sikoa as his new Tribal Chief during tonight's show.
