WWE News: Former WWE Superstar Taz accuses The Rock of "gimmick infringement"
Few weeks ago, the former WWE Champion, The Rock, announced that he has launched his own youtube channel. As noted, he recently has started a new pro-wrestling promo contest to promote his new YouTube project.
But it seems that former WWE, ECW and TNA star, Taz, had an issue with this contest, as he had already been doing something similar with his online radio show, The Taz Show.
Pointed out by dailwrestlingnews.com, Taz took to Twitter yesterday and started tweeting about this situation. He even accused The Rock of using his idea, without giving him any credit. Then, many fans started to rally behind Taz by using the “#IStandWithTaz” hashtag.
The Rock and Taz had this exchange on Twitter:
Been doing #humpdaypromos for ONE YEAR on #TheTazShow rules NEVER changed (45 sec promo). We all worked hard, now @TheRock doing it. Wow.

@OfficialTAZ Bro just seeing this. Surprised to see all your tweets when you could've just reached out personally and we rap about it.

@OfficialTAZ I had no idea you even had a radio show my man. Our show is just for the fans to have fun. No heat. This is silly. I'll text U

After a brief back-and-forth, it seems that the issue was sorted out between these two legends of the pro-wrestling industry.
