The Singh Brothers comment on how Triple H advised to them to act in Bollywood
WWE Superstars Sunil & Samir Singh, who are known as The Singh Brothers recently appeared on an interview session with former WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia on the latter's 'Chasing Glory with Lilian Garcia' podcast.
In the interview, the brothers talked about a lot of things that they had to face while making their way to WWE. One such instance was when The Singh Brothers were asked to try their hand in Bollywood by Triple H.
Samir Singh on trying his hand at Bollywood
The Singh Brothers told Lilian that before they made it to WWE, they wrestled as The Bollywood Boyz in the independent scene. In one such instance, they were hired as extra talents for a WWE show in Portland where they got to have a chance meeting with Triple H in the backstage area.
Sunil & Samir approached Triple H, who was having a conversation on the phone and introduced themselves as the Bollywood Boyz. They told the latter that they can help WWE make money in the Indian market but to their surprise, The Game replied that he already knew who they were.
They then went on to add that Triple H advised them to try featuring in Bollywood, since they had the gimmick that was certain to go along with it. Here's what he said -
You're doing this Bollwood character. Why not go to India and try to become Bollywood actors?
Sunil Singh then chimed in by saying that Samir packed up his bags and made arrangements to go to Mumbai, India as soon as Triple H suggested the shift. Samir Singh then moved to Mumbai four weeks later, even though he did not have any connections or help to form a career.
