The Usos to fight 12-time champions before The Bloodline? Exploring potential hint
The Usos recently got back together for one purpose and one purpose only. But before Jimmy and Jey Uso even think about taking out Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline, they may have some other problems to deal with. In particular, the twins could end up locking horns with 12-time tag team champions, who rubbed them the wrong way recently.
In the past, it wouldn't have been unusual to see The Usos butt heads with other tag teams. However, given their recent streak as the quintessential "good guys," it is somewhat surprising. Especially considering their potential opponents in question here are none other than Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston of The New Day. The babyface stable is a four-time RAW Tag Team Champion, a seven-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and a one-time NXT Tag Team Champion.
This past Monday on RAW, Woods and Kingston suffered another gut-wrenching loss, this time at the hands of the War Raiders. Heading backstage, Woods, as has been the case of late, was annoyed with Kofi. It was here that Jey Uso tried to step in, only to be met with shouts of "Go fight your brother" from Woods. This, of course, didn't sit well with Jimmy, who was also present and tried to step in.
Given the whole situation, there is a possibility that The Usos could clash with The New Day before they handle business with The Bloodline. Who knows? Xavier Woods might even demand the match be made so that he can 'prove himself' yet again. That said, as things stand, this is nothing more than speculation.
The Usos confronted Sami Zayn on the latest edition of RAW
While the confrontation between The Usos and The New Day was heated, many might be wondering why Jimmy and Jey were backstage. Well, perhaps it was because they were involved in the segment immediately after The New Day's match.
The segment started with Jey Uso coming out and asking Sami Zayn if the latter purposely Helluva Kicked Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. After a little back-and-forth, Jimmy Uso came out to confront Sami, boldly stating that the Canadian had no right to be out there as he was not "family!"
This continued for a while but ultimately ended on a very important note, as Jey acknowledged Sami and invited him to this Friday's SmackDown to "talk" with the Original Tribal Chief.
Safe to say everyone will be tuning in to watch this week's episode of the blue brand. After all, it could be where we see the reunion of the OG Bloodline.
