There is one WWE return after 460+ days that could intimidate Damian Priest in his Money in the Bank match
WWE Money in the Bank is rapidly approaching. While the show's biggest draws are arguably the Money in the Bank ladder matches themselves, there is a lot more to enjoy on the card, including a six-man tag team match featuring The Bloodline.
Another major hook on the show is Damian Priest defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins. While the WWE title holder should be concerned with Damian, he may also need to be worried about something else: The Demon.
The Demon is Finn Balor's alter ego. He rarely brings this demonic side of him out, last doing so 460+ days ago at WrestleMania 39 when he battled Edge inside Hell in a Cell. Unfortunately for Damian, The Demon could soon appear, and it may be at the Priest's expense.
Damian and Finn have been having issues in WWE off and on for a while now, but things seem to be going south now more than ever, with the pair constantly bickering. Many believe Priest could soon be kicked out of The Judgment Day with Finn leading the charge.
The Demon comes into play thanks to an Easter egg during a recent episode of RAW. In the background of a Dominik Mysterio segment, a case with The Demon's face paint design was seen. This likely hints at the character's return, which could scare Priest in ways he's not used to.
The Demon costing Damian Priest the win could lead to a match at WWE SummerSlam
Not only might The Demon scare Damian, but if Finn Balor does return with the character at WWE Money in the Bank, it may cost Priest the World Heavyweight Championship. A distraction from Finn would be enough to allow Seth Rollins to pick up a win.
While Damian Priest may be intimidated by this side of Finn, he is no coward, and Priest wouldn't take this lying down. Damian will seek revenge if he loses his World Heavyweight Championship thanks to interference.
All of this could then lead to a major SummerSlam match. Former Judgment Day teammates may collide as Finn Balor and Damian Priest could go one-on-one at the massive stadium event in Ohio.
There could be a lot of intrigue if the two do fight. Where might Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, JD McDonagh, and even the likes of Carlito and Liv Morgan place their allegiances? Finn bringing back The Demon and feuding with Priest could create compelling television and intriguing new dynamics. Plus, the face paint is really cool looking.
