Tiffany Stratton to finally cash in; shocking betrayal? 4 Finishes for the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament Finals

WWE has announced two new championship belts for female stars on RAW and SmackDown. Monday Night RAW has the Women's Intercontinental Title, while SmackDown has the Women's United States Championship.

Twelve women have been involved in a tournament to crown the first-ever Women's United States Champion. The first round featured four Triple Threat Matches, while the semi-finals and the finals have been and will be decided in singles matches, respectively.

Last night, SmackDown hosted the two semi-final matches. Chelsea Green defeated Bayley to advance, plus Michin managed to get past Tiffany Stratton. Now, The Blasian Baddie and SmackDown's resident Karen will clash to determine the first-ever champion.

This article will take a look at a handful of potential finishes for the final that will take place at Saturday Night's Main Event later tonight.

Below are four finishes for the WWE Women's United States Championship Tournament Finals:

#4. Michin could cleanly win her first title in WWE

Michin is a very talented WWE performer who has spent many years as one of the company's most underrated stars. Vince McMahon seemingly never saw potential in Michin, but thankfully, Triple H has, and she's had a strong 2024.

Surprisingly, the former O.C. member has never held a singles title in WWE. In fact, she has never held a championship in the company at all, be it on RAW, SmackDown, or NXT.

That could change at Saturday Night's Main Event. Just like Tiffany Stratton was hit with the Eat Defeat, Michin could nail Chelsea with the same move and go on to pin the Canadian star in the center of the ring to earn her maiden WWE championship.

#3. Piper Niven could help Chelsea Green win via pinfall

While Michin has never been a champion in WWE, we can't say the same about Chelsea Green. The Hot Mess is a former Women's Tag Team Champion. While Chelsea initially won the belt with Sonya Deville, Piper Niven took over after The Jersey Devil was injured.

Niven and Green initially lacked chemistry, as they clearly did not like each other. However, over time, both women began to get along, and their wacky segments soon turned into the two genuinely working well together. Come Saturday Night's Main Event, that could play in Chelsea's favor.

As a former tag team champion, Chelsea could depend on Piper to help her win her first singles title in WWE. If Piper nails Michin behind the referee's back, Chelsea can then hit the Unprettier, just as she did to Bayley, and become the inaugural Women's US Champion.

#2. A jealous Piper Niven could shockingly betray Chelsea Green

As noted, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven seemingly get along well now, but that wasn't always the case. They have very different personalities, as proven by their in-ring styles. They are just total opposites in many ways.

While the two have made that work in WWE, it could come back to haunt Chelsea now that there is something potentially standing between them: the Women's United States Championship. Piper was also involved in the tournament, and she seems annoyed to not be in line to win the WWE title.

In what would be a shocking moment, the Scottish star could betray The Hot Mess at Saturday Night's Main Event. Piper could assault Green behind the referee's back, allowing Michin to win. From there, Piper Niven could make it clear that she's only interested in singles success from now on.

#1. Tiffany Stratton could cash in mid-match and win the title

There is one element everybody seems to be forgetting about ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event: the WWE Money in the Bank briefcase.

Tiffany Stratton is the current Ms. Money in the Bank. She won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year, and despite teasing several cash-ins on the world titles, she has yet to invoke her contract.

Come Saturday Night's Main Event, The Buff Barbie could appear mid-match and cash in. This would turn the bout into a Triple Threat Match. From there, she could nail The Prettiest Moonsault Ever and become the first-ever Women's US Champion. The potential move could in turn eliminate any lingering tension between Tiffany Stratton and Nia Jax. It would be a massive moment if Saturday Night's Main Event becomes "Tiffy Time!"
