Which titles should change hands at WWE Elimination Chamber
The value of titles in the WWE might be not that high during the course of a year, but when the WrestleMania approaches the company takes special care in shaking things up and giving the champions a run for their money.
With the WWE and World Heavyweight Title unified, there are currently one major and three mid card titles in the company excluding the Divas title.
Though all might not be defended at the Elimination Chamber there are chances of one or two titles changing hands at the Elimination Chamber so as to make the roster look a bit fresh before the granddaddy arrives.
The Tag titles, Intercontinental Title and the US title are the ones which seem extra safe at the current situation.
New Age Outlaws won the tag titles back at the Royal Rumble defeating the Rhodes Brothers. One has to admit that the degenerates from the Attitude Era have been least impressive in their title reign. However, the company is sure to carry them through to WrestleMania as the champions and make the drop there.
The Outlaws may be forced to defend the title against the Usos or Rhodes Brothers or even both at the Chamber, but the veterans are going to walk out as champions since their title run ain’t going to be concluded with just one pay-per-view period.
Compare to the Outlaws, Langston has been a worthy champion and impressed every time he had to defend the title. Though he took a dip in momentum recently, Langston is sure to retain the title for sure since there is no one in the current roster worthy of replacing him.
It is a completely different scenario with the US title. As JBL says, Dean Ambrose is not going to lose the title if he doesn’t defend it.
The WWE decided to mention the factor this week on Raw and even gave a title defense for the Shield member. Since he is booked in the Wyatt family match at the Chamber Ambrose will surely not lose the title at the PPV but he is in a precarious situation now.
Ambrose is sure to drop the title before or after the chamber since it’s been a waste around his waist and simply speaking, he has bigger things lined up for him.
