Top WWE star saves Titus O'Neil from getting fired

Costly mistake?

– Titus O’Neil has been with the WWE for a while now after making his entry into the main roster via NXT. Titus has been popular with all sets of fans in spite of not being as polished in the ring as some of his colleagues. Titus, who is a part of the Prime Time Players, won the Tag Team Titles last year along with Darren Young but was being pushed down the order after losing the titles to New Day.

Titus was pushed as a singles wrestler recently and fans could have hoped for a shot at the United States Championship or the Intercontinental Title, but his chance seems to have gone down the drain owing to his unceremonious suspension.

Right after Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella left the stage last RAW after Bryan’s retirement speech, there was an incident between Vince McMahon and Titus O’Neil.

Titus pulled McMahon behind for no reason whatsoever which caught him by surprise and was later banned for 90 days for disorderly conduct. Vince McMahon was extremely offended and almost fired Titus, but thankfully, he was talked out of it by Triple H and Joey Mercury.

Being a WWE employee is a big thing and Titus would forever be thankful of Triple H and Mercury for saving his job.

It is said that Titus – in a playful way – wanted Vince to let Stephanie go before the boss in an act of courtesy, but Vince didn;t agree with the method. Even though his suspension has been reduced to 60 days, Titus seems to be walking on thin ice ever since the incident.
