Is TNA trying to one-up WWE and hijack AJ Styles?

Nothing Concrete yet

– As widely reported by countless websites since last month, former NJPW superstars are soon to come to the WWE; AJ Styles, who is a former TNA Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, one of the most charismatic wrestlers alive, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson are yet to make their WWE stint official. There has been nothing concrete of sorts but it is firmly believed that these stars would make it to the WWE around the WrestleMania season.

AJ Styles was reportedly scheduled to appear at the Royal Rumble this Sunday but the plans were cancelled due to the news about him leaking out which eliminated the surprise factor. Styles would wrap up his ROH commitments the night before Rumble and could still be an entrant. Nakamura is set to undergo his medical exam and a visit to the Performance Center by March.

Gallows has been a free agent but Anderson is still contracted to the NJPW till the 1st of February. It would not make much sense for Gallows to debut at the Royal Rumble with his partner, Anderson still plying his trade at NJPW. There was also a news that TNA were looking to bring in AJ Styles for a second stint but the plans didn't work out. TNA were also interested to acquire the services of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson.
