TNA/WWE News: Bobby Lashley comments about the financial issues of TNA
Recently, the former TNA World Champion Lashley provided his thoughts about the confusing financial situation of the Impact Zone. In the podcast with Fight Club Chicago, he discussed the financial issues that have resulted in several rumours regarding the company.
Lashley wants to focus on his in-ring performances rather than worry about the backstage issues TNA has been going through. He has worked with the company for several years now and feels that the ‘drama’ does not affect him anymore :
"So, once you have to deal with that one or two times, the third or fourth time, you don't pay no attention to it and just keep going. So, I don't even care about the rumors or anything like that.”
Lashley highlighted the rumours spreading via the social medias, “Oh, ‘TNA isn’t going to make it or we’re going to move to a different channel’ or something or another”, and stated that TNA deals with a similar financial problem almost every year.
‘The Human Kryptonite’ revealed that TNA has successfully tackled the situation in each case and this time it would not be any different.
Dixie Carter, who owns majority shares of the TNA, has been labelled as the reason behind the disorder within the company.
In the midst of a scenario where rumours are spreading about the possible change in ownership or even an end of the promotion, Lashley mentioned that Carter has assured the roster that “things are going to keep going the way they should go."
In just a few years as a TNA superstar, Lashley has found enormous success in singles competition. In fact, he recently held the X Divison, King of the Mountain and the Heavyweight Championship at the same time.
Here’s a match of his vs. James Storm in TNA:
Lashley, now a former World Champion lost the belt to Eddie Edwards in an episode of Impact Wrestling.
