TNA star injured at BFG, Matt Hardy wins his first World title, note on wrestlers being upset before BFG

Tigre Uno injured at BFG ppv

- Last night at the TNA Bound for Glory PPV, X-Division champion Tugre Uno retained his title against Andrew Everett, Manik and DJ Zema Ion in Ultimate X. During a point in the match, Uno looked to be selling a lot more than normal and there was concern about him suffering a legit injury during the match.

TNA President Dixie Carter tweeted out confirming the injury which was Uno separating his shoulder during the match. Below is her tweet:

- Matt Hardy, who has been in the business, for around 20 years and competed in WWE and other major promotions, has never had a world title reign in either WWE or TNA. All that changed last night at the Bound For Glory PPV when Hardy defeated Ethan Carter III and Drew Galloway in the main-event in front of his home crowd of Charlotte, North Carolina, to become the new TNA World Heavyweight champion.

This year has been a rewarding one for the elder of the Hardy brothers as he has had a newborn and a new world title reign, quite in proximity to one another.

- The word backstage in the TNA locker room, right before the Bound for Glory PPV, indicated a lot of unrest and unease among the crew and roster members after fans, most likely VIP ticket holders, were allowed into the catering area along with the staff.

The feeling was that the fans were given too much access and the wrestlers weren’t given much privacy. The experience was part of the main-event package that was sold out included a tour of the arena with Dixie Carter and lunch with roster and crew.
